On May 5, we announced the launch of Dell PowerStore, a game-changing storage infrastructure platform designed to solve modern data center challenges with data-centric design, intelligent automation and adaptive architecture. PowerStore appliances also come with multiple Dell Technologies Services options to provide the best service experience, and we are excited to expand the portfolio with the introduction of the Upgrade Anytime Program, the most flexible upgrade program in the industry.

Dell Technologies Services experts will get your new PowerStore up and running quickly with support for the life of the device from our portfolio of services including Dell ProDeploy Suite and ProSupport Enterprise Suites.

With ProDeploy Plus, we’ll deploy your PowerStore so you can quickly take advantage of your new appliance. Plus, when you purchase a new PowerStore appliance, you’ll need to move workloads, applications, and files. The Anytime Upgrades program is designed to expand and improve PowerStore over time, providing greater choice, predictability, and investment protection. Together, the Anytime Upgrades program and PowerStore’s adaptable architecture effectively end the traditional disruptive storage platform migration cycle with simple, flexible, in-place data upgrades—with no downtime or application impact. And unlike other programs, Anytime Upgrades can be executed at any time within your service contract, rather than waiting years.

Because this program is an add-on to ProSupport Plus, our highest-level support offering, you'll have priority access to specialized support experts and a dedicated Technology Services Manager, who acts as a trusted advisor for support planning and technology decisions.

Anytime Updates are available in three options:

Next-Gen: Upgrade appliance nodes (controllers) to equivalent next-generation models
Top Model: Upgrade to more powerful nodes within the current generation
Climbing: Apply a discount to expand your environment with a second device equal to the current model
When using Next-Gen or higher model offerings, new nodes are deployed using ProDeploy Plus and are supported by your existing ProSupport Plus contract at no additional cost.3
