A wine barrel thief

Post by Jahangir655 »

At the time, there were some really cool companies doing something similar in other industries. For example, Tom's Shoes donated a pair of shoes for every pair sold. This inspired us, so we decided to get involved in our own cause as the company grew.

So we partnered with Charity Water and found a way to donate clean water for every bottle of wine sold. We were thrilled to be able to make a difference while helping people drink better quality wine.

We had our concept and we were ready to go.

Next, we needed a name. In hindsight, we probably could have spam database come up with a better name, but we called it CellarThief.

You see, a Thief is a device used by a winemaker to take samples of wine from a barrel during the winemaking process. We thought it was an interesting play on words because we were also trying to offer good wines at a "bargain" price.

After choosing a name, we next needed to find a logo. So we reached out to 99 Designs, asked our friends to vote on the logos we received, and chose a logo.
