17 Tips to Increase Landing Page Conversion

Post by subornaakter40 »

Landing pages are a good way to sell products that are in high demand. Unusual new products that don't bring much benefit: spinners, phone cases, bracelets with motivational inscriptions are sold with a markup of 500% or more. The conversion is off the charts.

But this does not last long: until everyone understands that the same thing can be bought on Chinese sites, but several times cheaper. Gradually, demand, price and conversion fall.

Create a portrait of your ideal client. Study find your mobile phone numbers database the target audience of competitors, analyze thematic forums and groups in social networks. It is important to learn the unbiased opinion of users, which they openly express in the comments under the posts.

Use call-to-action phrases wisely . Users will not take open calls to action like “Take it for free, we’ll pay you extra” or “Buy a TV or die.” In the landing page text, it is enough to use just three magnet phrases that can push users to make a purchase.

Selling triggers on the website should be placed interspersed with social ones : customer reviews, company portfolio, certificates, award sheets.

Choose features that are specific to your market niche . All promotions, work algorithms and advantages should be developed in accordance with the product features and target audience portrait.

Landing page design is your everything . Attractive website design can increase conversion at least twice. There is a saying: "A salesman in ripped jeans won't sell a limo."

Be in tune with your target audience.

Be careful with adjectives in the text. Avoid value judgments. The words "amazing", "extraordinary", "incredible", "stunning" usually do not carry any semantic load. This is informational garbage.

The text should be catchy and evoke emotions. Compare: “Nikolay started courting” (sounds boring) and “Nikolay started flirting with her” (you can feel the excitement, desire); “I’m tired of my laptop” and “I’m annoyed by this piece of hardware that works slower than a turtle.” Speak the same language as your target audience, but don’t overdo it.

Try to remove unnecessary verbs. Instead of “start ordering,” “start shopping,” “take part,” write “order,” “buy,” “participate.” This doesn’t always work and may look like a forced sale, but simplicity and openness are better than evasive wording.

A catchy title. It determines whether the landing page will be able to hold the visitor's attention from the beginning to the end.

Don't forget about attractive subheadings . The rule of good copy: a specific headline and an emotional or explanatory subheading.

Don't overcomplicate the text. It should be easy to read. Keep a balance: too simple expressions will not sell. This can lead to the opposite effect: the user will decide that you consider him/her simple-minded.

Write the offer in simple, understandable words. The optimal size is 80–130 characters.

State the cost of the product or service at the very end. First, make a presentation, describe the advantages. If a person finds out the price before reading the full description, he may get scared and close the page.

Work with reviews. Before making a purchase decision, many users study other people's opinions about your company and the products you offer.

Texts should be interesting, attractive and readable. Do not overload them with keywords for better promotion in the search engine. You write text for people, not for robots. Remember about the emotional component.

Don't use time constraints to make a purchase decision . No one likes that. Customers like to choose and make decisions at their own pace. Many people are annoyed by countdown timers on websites.
