Post by bitheerani319 »

Header is a term used in programming language to refer to the top part of a website. In other words, the header is the first thing you see when you visit a page.
The header usually includes the company name or logo, a slogan or very brief information, and the navigation menu tabs. It is also usually fixed, meaning that no matter how far down the page the user scrolls, it will always remain visible.

What is the header for?
The header of your website is very important because it is the first bangladesh phone number list you make on your visitors. This first impression you want to make will depend a lot on the objectives of the page and the needs of the Buyer persona, so not all headers are the same.
For example, the header of Neil Patel's site is a direct and aggressive CTA:

And the Pizza Hut header is designed to speed up the online ordering process:

How to make a good header?
The first question you should ask yourself when structuring a good header is : What is the most important impression, feeling or action I want to trigger in my visitor? Because everything else will depend on that answer.
However, regardless of the objective and content of your site, there are some tips that can be applied to increase the quality and effectiveness of any header:

Always identify your brand with the logo and slogan
Less is more: direct, concise and brief information
Take great care with the design, regardless of whether you include images or not.
Make sure the header serves some practical navigation purpose
Integrate the most important CTA on the site (registration, search, order, etc.)
Include icons with links to your social networks or your App
What elements should a header have?
You can or you should because there will be optional elements and others that we could say are almost obligatory:

The menu. As I mentioned before, the menu is one of the most important and essential elements of your website's header. Users will always look for your website's menu to navigate through it.
Of course, another of the most essential elements is your company logo. By placing it in the header at all times on your website, you will improve your branding and it will be easy for users to always recognize where they are.
Social media icons. If your company or blog has social media, it is a good idea to place these icons in the header, since this is one of the places (along with the footer) where users will most likely go to look for them.
The search engine. In some blogs or web pages, there is usually a magnifying glass icon in the header, so that content can be searched for using keywords.
Your company's contact information: phone, email, etc.
Language selector, if the site is translated into several languages. If so, the most convenient and intuitive place for these flags to be is in the header, although they can also be in other places on the website.
Other important links you want to highlight. This can be a second menu, or simply several additional links to other parts of your site or to other websites that you want to place independently in the header.
