Abstract : KubeEdge SIG AI's article on the development of the cloud-native edge intelligence industry was published in the Edge Computing 2024 special issue of Automation Expo, hosted by the Chinese Automation Society . The article points out that artificial intelligence is crossing the technical boundaries of two major fields. On the one hand, artificial intelligence has greatly surpassed the historical performance with the support of large models, and on the other hand, cloud-native edge computing has brought artificial intelligence closer to all users. The organic integration of the two has led to the explosion of new value growth points for cloud-native edge intelligence.
Based on past practices, this article introduces the core changes in cloud-native edge intelligence and summarizes the best practices:
In terms of guiding philosophy : solving practical problems in response kuwait phone number data to four major challenges and promoting multiple technological breakthroughs based on the standardization paradigm;
In terms of implementation path : incubate algorithms through benchmarking, develop services with a unified framework, and develop industries with ecological communities.
The article finally introduces nearly ten scenarios and twenty application cases, and takes the open source community ecosystem KubeEdge SIG AI sub-project standardized unified framework KubeEdge-Sedna and benchmark KubeEdge-Ianvs as the cornerstone, and deeply shares the experience of cloud-native edge intelligence industry applications.
