Acquisition lifecycle stage - Focus on payback period. Prefer this modified LTV metric over traditional customer lifetime value metrics.

Retention lifecycle stage - Focus on retention rate, or it's inverse churn rate, for measuring overall retention.
Loyalty stage - Focus on purchase frequency and referral rate for loyalty.
