Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, and Franciscus Timmermans, First Vice-President of the European Commission, visited the new Maspero metro station as part of the third phase of line 3 of the Cairo metro.

During the inspection tour, Essam Wali made a presentation on the development of the third phase of Cairo metro line 3, which aims to reduce travel time, traffic jams in Greater Cairo and emissions from carbon dioxide of about 9.3 million tons.
