This year's budget revenues of Tambov Oblast increased by 2.5 billion rubles

This year's regional budget revenues increased by two and a half billion rubles. Changes to the region's main financial document were considered at a meeting of the regional Duma's specialized committee.
According to the bill introduced by the Head of the Tambov Region Maxim Egorov, the volume of budget revenues of the region this year is proposed to be increased by more than 2.5 billion rubles. If the amendments to the main financial document are adopted, the budget deficit will be significantly reduced. Thus, the revenue side will amount to 68.2 billion rubles, the expenditure side – 72.2 billion. The budget deficit is about 4 billion rubles.
Yuri Pluzhnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Tambov Regional Duma, Chairman of the Committee on Budget, Taxes and Finance of the Tambov Regional Duma: “We received 2.5 billion rubles. This is actually our own income. About 1.5 billion is an increase in the profit tax, about half a billion rubles is personal income tax, excise taxes. Almost our own income. This shows that the region’s economy is working quite well even under sanctions.”
Members of the relevant Duma committee also reviewed changes to the budget binance data for next year. On November 15, the State Duma adopted the country's main financial document at a meeting. Subventions and grants to the Tambov Region were increased by 7.7 billion rubles. Thus, the revenue side of the region's 2024 budget may amount to 66.3 billion, and the expenditure side to 66.5 billion. It was also proposed to increase the budget of the territorial health insurance fund for next year. Due to an increase of 1.7 billion rubles, the total volume is projected to be 17.2 billion rubles. All budget issues will be finally resolved at a meeting of the regional parliament on November 24.
