FOX WILL TEST THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ADVERTISING ON YOUTUBE

This Saturday, Fox will promote its film Wolverine in 11 countries via YouTube . This is the largest ad acquisition made on the video platform so far in the flagship format. To complete this launch, Fox and Google will conduct a study to further investigate the effectiveness of the ads on the YouTube home page in terms of brand recognition, whether this advertising encourages users to watch the film, whether it generates traffic to the film's website and whether users talk about it.
The study goes beyond the standard parameters, as both bc data america the client and the agency want to measure things other than those usually measured by other brands. For example, whether there is a real interest on the part of users in searching for content about the film "Wolverine" and whether or not they want to discuss, transmit or share information about the film. The Metrix laboratory is in charge of carrying out the study.

The header format is the new YouTube video advertising format launched at the beginning of the year. The format occupies a third of the top of the YouTube home page and the ad starts running automatically, but without sound. Only if the user clicks on it does the sound activate.
