All social networks are shaken by the tremendous power of TikTok, which has gained a huge market share in a very short time. While Instagram is betting on its Reels to limit the damage, YouTube is also launching its short video format called “YouTube Shorts”.
Launched in September 2020 in India, the new feature offered by YouTube quickly became a success. At the end of February 2021, the CEO of Google and Alphabet announced that YouTube Shorts videos received 3.5 billion cumulative daily views in the Indian market.
