I will draw a parallel between escapism and individual coaching, which I regularly do with my clients. Namely, sometimes it happens that clients simply, without any specific reason or explanation, give up on coaching, before they have achieved the goals defined at the beginning of the coaching process. Coaches then often wonder why this happens. This does not happen because of the coaches, nor because of their approach, nor because of the problems for which the client comes for help – it happens because the clients have realized that during coaching they will have to “dig” into their deepest beliefs, fears and concerns, and they are simply not ready to face them – and then it is easier to escape.

Don't get me wrong, this behavior is not cowardly at all. You're running away because you want to protect yourself from the extreme discomfort that awaits you once you've faced what lies beneath the surface. Since you care about yourself, it makes perfect sense that you want to do well for yourself and that you don't want to hurt yourself mexico whatsapp data unnecessarily, just like everyone else in this world. However, what you fail to see is that by avoiding these things in the long run, you'll actually be hurting yourself - like a hamster in a wheel, you'll continually spin aimlessly, ruminating on the same thoughts, doing the same things, and feeling the same emotions.

When you constantly feel three emotions: discomfort, dissatisfaction, or chronic exhaustion. What to do in that case? Here are some concrete tips:

Individual coaching – despite the shameful fact that the market is flooded with all sorts of individuals calling themselves coaches, you can greatly benefit from working with a professional who has expertise in working with your strongest beliefs, fears, and concerns.
Mindfulness - a set of techniques that emphasize the power of the present moment, without any judgment or evaluation, so powerful that they emerged as a new wave of cognitive-behavioral therapies.
Autogenic training - autosuggestive methods that not only bring your body into a relaxed state, but also help you gradually create a positive attitude towards life and the future, and in this way become more successful.
Meditation – when something over 5,000 years old survives to this day, there must be something good about it. ?
Free time – instead of using it for individual improvement and performing an enormous number of activities, learn to spend it in silence, with yourself, doing absolutely nothing, and being grateful that you are right here, right now.
It's worth noting that it won't be easy! However, take it slow, step by step, and don't be too critical of yourself. Allow yourself to make mistakes, but also prepare yourself for a life transformation! Good luck.
