Basic guide to making a webinar from scratch

Webinars are here to stay and we have already discussed in this post what they are and what advantages they have if you use them in your marketing strategy. We all know that they can be useful and very productive. But depending on the approach, it can be difficult to participate in those that last more than an hour and find something of value in those that promised content that never arrived.

During the health crisis we experienced in 2020 and 2021, the vast majority of professionals who have been working with social distancing have attended, at least, one webinar or seminar. There are currently several software programs that allow us to conduct the webinar. The best known are Zoom, GoToWebinar, ClickMeeting or even YouTube. The difference between them is the participation limits and the cost depending on what we want to achieve.


There are multiple formats and there is no exact definition of what it should be like. You can opt for an interview format with a guest or an expert in the sector; a presentation or demo of a product; an educational webinar that explains how to achieve X objectives or introduce a success story that generates interest in a product or service of your business.
