Capture candidates' attention with voice messages!

Post by Ehsanuls55 »

In recruitment, your daily job is to find the perfect talent to meet your clients' needs. The classic images of recruiters smiling at interviews or signing contracts capture only a small part of the hiring process. Before you get to that stage, you have to do some research and make initial contact with various profiles. And it is precisely at this stage that things get complicated.

It's hard to stand out on LinkedIn amidst the flood of messages your targets receive every day. Contacts are constantly being solicited with messages that aren't always appropriate or even completely out of place. And you certainly pay the price for it.

Have you ever thought about taking an innovative approach by using voice messages to differentiate yourself from other recruiters?

Although not widely used, LinkedIn voice messages get twice as many responses on average . Join me as I explain it to you in this article:

Why you should incorporate them into your strategy
Best practices to make them work for you
How to automate them with The Growth Machine so you can also increase your response rate
If this is your first visit to LaGrowthMachine, I also invite you to read our article on automating LinkedIn vp it email list messages and our article on the keys to successful writing on LinkedIn .

Why use LinkedIn Voice Messages?
Here we enter the part of the article where I have to convince you of the fearsome effectiveness of voice messages. And honestly, I don't think it's that difficult. Voice messages generate twice as many responses on average. Period. But what is the reason for these results? Let me sum it all up in one concept: SURPRISE!

Bad Example

And if we put ourselves, for a few lines, in Pierre's shoes, a Backend developer who receives messages like these on a daily basis:

'Hello Pierre,

I've visited your profile and I think I have an opportunity that might interest you as a Backend Developer. Could you spare a few minutes for me?

Not very exciting. And above all, completely automated! This message needs:

More authenticity
A clearer offer/message about the position (location, salary, etc.)
A distinctive element that arouses the curiosity of the potential future candidate.
That’s where voice messages come in. They offer the opportunity to stand out from the crowd and create WOW (see what I’m getting at?). Automating DMs (LinkedIn text messages) is well known, but using voice messages is not. They’re rarely used, but they add a distinctive touch to your message , tap into the voice note trend (particularly among younger people), and wow your audience with your voice! The addition of a human voice, speaking authentically and calmly, injects a dose of humanity into messages that are usually automated (and trust me, we know a thing or two about that).

Targeted talent will feel genuinely considered and will be more likely to respond to the recruiter. And it is well known that in recruiting, a response is always good for getting back in touch with the candidate and calling them back when the time comes.
